PisaMover is Green even before starting the journey

The Pisa Mover system, both in the shuttle and in the car parks, is “green” right from the design. Everything has been designed to have the minimum polluting impact, without sacrificing comfort and efficiency.

The desire to protect the environment is a priority defined in our Company Policy and in the Code of Ethics and has resulted in the implementation of national and international standards, with compliance with current environmental legislation and the adoption of a Management System Integrated Quality and Environment certified according to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 standards, reconfirmed in February 2024.

For the planning and implementation of the activities, the choice of resources that minimize environmental risks and promote renewable energy sources was fundamental. In this spirit, for example, we have equipped the two car parks, Aurelia and Goletta, with photovoltaic panel roofs and in the coming months, the roofing will be strengthened to increase the green footprint.

The management of transport services has also seen an effort aimed at improving air quality and environmental performance. The electric shuttle minimizes consumption and eliminates, for example, noise pollution.

The culture of respect for the environment is promoted through raising awareness of environmental issues and constant updating of our staff on legislative, regulatory and technological matters, to enhance the principles of sustainable development.
